English- describing the city

 Today, Year 3 were using a wide range of literary devices to describe the city from our film. First, we collected lots of words and phrases that helped us understand what was in a city. We used alliteration to create effect and personification to bring our skyscrapers to life. Some of us even took part in tug of war to give us verbs to use in our writing.
