Geography - Deforestation

 This week the children used Now Press Play, which is an immersive audio resource that takes children into a story which they hear through headphones and thus, they respond to the voice and act out the story.

The story today took the children on a night-time excursion into the Amazon Rainforest where they get lost and meet Tatum, a girl from an Amazonian tribe. Together the children discovered a rare plant with medicinal properties. However, they had to try and save it as the mining company wanted to chop it down.
