Geography - Temperate Deciduous Forests

Today, the children researched all about temperate deciduous forests as they will be carrying out an investigation on Wednesday at Robin Hill to compare two types of forests.

A temperate deciduous forest is a biome that has many deciduous trees which lose their leaves in the fall. These forests are also known as broad-leaf forests because the trees have wide, flat leaves. Temperate deciduous forests are found in the temperate zone of the Earth: where we live.

Looking forward to our trip on Wednesday Year 3.
